  A new football stadium on the USF campus could include various seating areas, including general admission seating, Scholarship Seating, and premium seating (i.e. suites, loge boxes, club seats), among other potential seating areas.  Scholarship Seating and premium seating reserves the seats in the best locations of the stadium for those that make contributions to USF Athletics, the fundraising organization for athletics.

How interested are you in purchasing season tickets (general admission, Scholarship Seating, or premium seating) at a new football stadium on the USF campus?

SCHOLARSHIP SEATING

  Prime seat locations in a new football stadium on the USF campus require an additional Scholarship Seating cost to USF Athletics in order to purchase season tickets. The Scholarship Seating Amount is based on proximity to the 50-yard line and seating level within the stadium.  Scholarship Seating would provide patrons with access to standard concessions, restrooms, and concourses.

The below image shows where some of the Scholarship Seating in a new on-campus football stadium could be located in relation to yard-line and distance from the field.  Where would you most desire to sit in a new football stadium on the USF campus, recognizing that seats closest to the 50-yard line and in the lower level will be the most expensive?

CLUB SEATS

A new on-campus football stadium could include club seats in prime locations, and would provide an elevated experience on USF football game days. Club seats could be located outdoors and be covered by a roof overhang or be located indoors in a climate-controlled environment. A club seat would be a wider, padded chairback seat, and provide more leg room than regular stadium seating.

Other amenities associated with the purchase of a club seat could include:
· Private stadium entrance;
· Access to a climate-controlled club lounge directly behind the seating area with views of the field;
· All-inclusive upscale food and non-alcoholic beverages;
· Ability to purchase alcohol;
· Private restrooms;

The University could also require a significant one-time capital campaign gift in order to purchase club seats in a new on-campus football stadium.

  How would you describe your interest in club seats at a new football stadium on the USF campus?
  Club seats may be available on multi-year commitments (i.e., 3, 5, or 10 years) and would require an annual contribution to USF Athletics. Recognizing that the annual payment would vary depending on the location of the seats, how likely is it that you would purchase club seats at a new on-campus football stadium if the total annual cost is $3,000 per seat, including the Scholarship Seating and season ticket costs?
  What if the total annual cost was $2,500 per seat, including the Scholarship Seating and season ticket costs?

  If you made the decision to purchase club seats, how many would you likely purchase?

  Would you prefer club seats be located indoors in a climate-controlled environment, or outdoors under cover?

  Club seats could be located along the sidelines or in the end zone.  Recognizing that seats along the sideline would be more expensive than seats in the end zone, please indicate the location(s) you would consider purchasing in a new on-campus football stadium.
  If club seats located in the end zone were the only option available, would you still purchase club seats?

LOGE BOXES

Construction of a new on-campus football stadium may include loge boxes located in prime locations.  Loge boxes would seat 4 to 8 people and could be located outside under cover. Amenities associated with the purchase of a loge box could include:

  Would you prefer to share the cost of a loge box with other parties?
  How many loge seats would you prefer to purchase in a shared box?

  Recognizing the price of a loge box would be commensurate with its seating capacity and whether you are sharing the box with other parties or not, what would the optimal loge box seating capacity be for you?
  Loge boxes could be designed in three potential configurations, including a half moon table, seats along a drink rail in a linear row, or movable chairs on casters within a square box.  Which potential loge box configuration would you most prefer in a new on-campus football stadium?

  Loge boxes could be located along the sidelines or in the end zone.  Recognizing that loge boxes located along the sideline would be more expensive than loge boxes in the end zone, please indicate the location(s) you would consider purchasing in a new on-campus football stadium.
  If loge boxes located in the end zone were the only option available, would you still purchase a loge box?

LUXURY SUITES

A new on-campus football stadium could include a limited number of luxury suites.  Luxury suites could have seating for approximately 16 people, and could accommodate up to 20 people total with standing room only passes.  Luxury suites would have immediate access to a private upscale, climate-controlled area.  Amenities associated with the purchase of a luxury suite could include:

  How would you describe your interest in purchasing a luxury suite at a new football stadium on the USF campus?
  Suites may be available on multi-year commitments (i.e., 3, 5, or 10 years) and would require an annual contribution to USF Athletics.  How likely is it that you would purchase a luxury suite if the total annual cost was $60,000 per suite ($3,750 per seat), including the Scholarship Seating and season ticket costs?
  What if the total annual cost was $50,000 per suite ($3,125 per seat), including the Scholarship Seating and season ticket costs?
  What if the total annual cost was $40,000 per suite ($2,500 per seat), including the Scholarship Seating and season ticket costs?
  Would you prefer to share the cost and use of a luxury suite with other parties?
  How many seats would you prefer to purchase with others in a shared suite?

  Recognizing the price of a luxury suite could be commensurate with its seating capacity, location and your desired suite sharing preference, what would be your optimal luxury suite seating capacity?
  Would you prefer the stadium suite seats be located inside behind fully operable glass or outside the climate-controlled suite lounge?

  Luxury suites could be located along the sidelines or in the end zone.  Recognizing that a luxury suite located along the sideline would be more expensive than a luxury suite in the end zone, please indicate the location(s) you would consider purchasing in a new on-campus football stadium.
  If luxury suites located in the end zone were the only option available, would you still purchase a luxury suite?

FIELD LEVEL CLUB MEMBERSHIPS

Part of the design of a new on-campus football stadium could include a limited number of memberships to a private club located at field level. Field level club memberships could be available to all individuals who purchase USF football season tickets anywhere in the stadium, and would provide access to a lounge with views of the field, access to upgraded food and beverage options, and the ability to purchase alcoholic beverages inside the lounge area.

It is possible that members could have a view of the players as they enter/exit the field through the club lounge. Patrons would have access to the club before the game, throughout the game, and following the conclusion of the game. The cost of a field level club membership would carry a recommended minimum annual contribution to USF Athletics.
The images below illustrate examples of modern field level club lounges at other collegiate football stadiums and professional football stadiums.

  How would you characterize your interest in a field level club membership at a new football stadium on the USF campus?
  Field level club memberships could be available on a multi-year commitment and would carry a recommended minimum annual contribution to USF Athletics. SCHOLARSHIP SEATING CAPITAL GIFT

  It is possible that a one-time capital gift on Scholarship Seating may be required to help support USF athletics. This program would require a one-time donation towards the building campaign for the new stadium in addition to your seats.

A capital gift donation would also significantly increase your priority standing, allowing you the opportunity to select seats in your most desired location. If a capital gift program donation equal to 1.5 times the total annual cost of your Scholarship Seating were required to purchase seating in the new on-campus football stadium, how would you characterize the impact it would have on your decision to purchase seating?  (For example, if season tickets cost $1,000 total annually, the one-time seat gift donation would be $1,500.)

PURCHASE UTILIZATION

  Would your purchase of seats in a new on-campus football stadium be primarily for personal use, corporate use or both?

LEASE TERMS

  Premium seating may be offered for 3, 5, 7, or 10-year terms, payable annually.  A common incentive for purchasing premium seating on a longer term is a lower annual price increase for seating. Recognizing that lower annual price increases would be associated with longer commitment terms, which term would you likely choose?

SOCIAL GATHERING SPACES

  When you attend USF football games, which of the following would best describe how you would describe your gameday experience?
  A new on-campus football stadium could have a variety of social gathering spaces that would allow patrons to socialize with other football fans.  These social gathering spaces could have views of the field, a variety of casual seating areas, access to purchase standard concessions, and the ability to purchase alcohol, among other amenities.  How important is it to you that a new on-campus football stadium have social gathering spaces?

RECOGNITION OPPORTUNITIES

  There would be a wide-variety of donor recognition or naming opportunities in a new on-campus football stadium.  Various areas of the stadium could be named after an individual donor of family in consideration for a capital contribution toward the stadium project.  Would you be interested in contributing to a campus stadium in such a manner?
  What level of contribution would you consider to support the development of a new and improved campus stadium and have an area of the stadium named after you, your family or a loved one?  These contributions could be pledged and paid over a five year period.

*Donor recognition values are based on what has been charged at other new stadiums, and do not necessarily reflect pricing at a new on-campus football stadium*
  How likely is it that you would actually make a capital donation towards the stadium for an individual or family legacy naming opportunity?

DONATION IMPACT

  In reference to the amount you would be willing to donate to support the development of a new on-campus football stadium (capital gift, premium seating, donor seating etc.), would this donation likely be in addition to your current Bulls Club contribution, take the place of your current Bulls Club contribution level, or would your contribution to USF Athletics remain about the same?
  Have you made non-athletic donations to USF in the past?
  How would any donations you make to support the development of a new on-campus football stadium (i.e., building campaign donation, Scholarship Seating, etc.) impact your decision to make non-athletic donations to USF?

INDOOR FOOTBALL PRACTICE FACILITY

  Are you aware of USF’s campaign to build an indoor football practice facility?
  USF is the only institution in the AAC that does not have an indoor football practice facility opened or under construction today.  The $40 million, 83,000-square-feet indoor practice facility will include a full-sized football turf field, a 12,000-square-foot strength and conditioning center, locker room, players lounge, team meeting rooms, sports medicine and rehab facilities, and a nutrition center.  It is anticipated that the opening of the indoor football practice facility would positively impact all student-athletes, with existing facilities freed up for use by athletes in other sports on campus and a nutrition center that would serve all student athletes at USF.  The facility is envisioned to be funded completely by donor giving.  How would you characterize your attitude towards the indoor football practice facility project?

  Would you consider donating to the indoor football practice facility project that will benefit all student athletes at USF?
  What contribution level could you see yourself participating in the indoor football practice facility?
  How likely is it that you would actually follow-through with your contribution to the indoor practice facility?

  Assuming there was a new on-campus football stadium, how would this impact your decision to attend home football games in the future?
  On average, how many games do you envision attending a new on-campus football stadium?
  A new on-campus football stadium could have a number of other student-focused amenities, such as cell phone charging stations and a mobile app, a mobile app with programming geared towards students, among others. USF is considering building a social gathering area in the stadium that would only be accessible to students on game days.  The social gathering area could include casual seating areas such as high-top tables or drink rails and provide access to unique food offerings.
