CAJUN FIELD RENOVATION

Cajun Field is a key element in the future development of Louisiana Athletics.  Through a master planning process, Athletics has identified the need to make significant upgrades to Cajun Field in order to enhance the student and game-day fan experiences alike.  To that end, the University is considering a wide range of potential improvements to Cajun Field along the west (home) and east (visitor’s) sidelines and north end zone that could provide new, one-of-a-kind seating options and premier social gathering spaces as well as significant upgrades to restrooms, concession areas, stadium technology, and other improvements.  It should be noted that all concepts and amenities shown throughout this survey are hypothetical and no decisions have been made regarding seat products or pricing in a renovated Cajun Field.
Note: Conceptual images are intended only to convey potential concepts and are subject to change based on further planning and research.

PRIORITY SEATING

Prime seat locations in a renovated Cajun Field could require an additional contribution to the Ragin’ Cajuns Athletic Foundation, the fundraising arm for Louisiana Athletics.  The “Priority Seating” donation would be based on the proximity to the 50-yard line and location along the west or east sideline.  Priority Seating would provide patrons with access to standard concessions, restrooms, and concourses.  Depending on the location, seats would consist of either stadium chairback seating, bleacher seats with backs, or standard bleacher seating.
The below image shows where some of the Priority Seating in a renovated Cajun Field could be located.
Note: Dollar signs are meant to represent a section’s price relative to other sections on the map and should be used as a reference only.

Where would you most desire to sit in a renovated Cajun Field, recognizing that the seats closest to the 50-yard line and along the west sideline will be the most expensive?

PARISH TERRACE

The University is considering a one-of-a-kind concept that would bring a parish-centric environment out of the tailgating spots and into the stadium.  The Parish Terrace section, as an omage to Cajun culture, would be divided into each of the parishes around Lafayette where our most loyal patrons live.  Seating in the Parish Terrace could be sectioned into customizable areas - Parish Terrace Seating and Parish Terrace Premium Boxes - that could be in-stadium tailgating plots, seating four to 10 people (the University would allow sharing), with the ability to customize your tailgate plot to your needs via seating options, shade preferences, and other amenities.

In addition, Parish Terrace Seating and Premium Box holders could have the ability to move around to other parish locations to mingle with family and friends and could also have access to an indoor, climate-controlled lounge with upgraded food and beverage options, including alcohol.

Note: Conceptual images are only intended to convey potential concepts and are subject to change based on further planning and research.

Why do you not tailgate or not tailgate more often? Select all that apply,

Do you purchase a tailgate plot for home games at Cajun Field?
